The Perfect Prom Dress ❤

I've spent quite a while on their site, browsing their dresses. Although I'm way past my high school prom stage, I was able to find some really nice dresses that I liked. Options for uni ball dresses for later on this year ^___^.

Here are some of my favourite picks from their site:

style #1

I really love this champagne coloured dress, the combination of tulle and sequins makes the dress extra girly and unique! I love how the dress has a split on the side, making it not only elegant but super stylish too. I definitely have my eye on this dress for my upcoming uni ball this year :P

style #2

This dress is a striking cobalt blue that would suit all skin tones, from fair to darker tones. The delicate crystal beading at the waistline emphasises your body's hourglass figure. :)

The images of this dress screams it all - classy, elegant and chic!
I'm so in love with the mini train of this dress and the silver metallic lace details are just absolutely stunning!

Now here are some tips and pointers for picking out the perfect cheap prom dress if you're stuck!

1. This is probably the most difficult decision to make for most people, whether a short or a long prom dress is preferred. Full length gowns offer a touch of elegance and classiness, shorter gowns are more playful and fun looking. Some of my friends actually prefer shorter length gowns as it is much easier to dance in, keep this in mind if you are planning to go to an after party for your prom!

2. The colour of the gown is a very important factor to consider! Some colours will compliment your skin tone while others will cause to you appear rather dull looking. People with darker complexions should opt for brighter coloured gowns. I generally find that a dark blue/navy dress or a green prom dress will suit most complexions.

3. Is the gown comfy for you to move around in? You definitely don't want to be feeling uncomfortable the entire night. And in the worst case scenarios, a wardrobe malfunction may occur :(

4. Is the gown within your budget? Make sure you splurge on a gown that is within you budget, you don't want to spend hundreds on a gown that you will only wear once!

5. Take a close friend with you when you dress shop! Second opinions do come in handy at times like this :)

Hopefully you've enjoyed reading my blog post on prom dresses and I hope to see you all very soon in my next blog entry!
